Dr. Patanjali Dev Nayar is a pioneering expert in Life Skills Education (LSE) across South East Asia, with a distinguished career spanning over three decades. His contributions have shaped both in-school and out-of-school LSE initiatives for children, adolescents, and youth. As a former Technical Officer with UNFPA India and later with WHO SEARO, Dr. Nayar has significantly influenced national and state education curricula and adolescent health programs. He played a pivotal role in implementing Delhi Government’s flagship LSE initiative, “YUVA,” training over 42,000 teachers. His expertise also extended to Bhutan, where he guided the integration of LSE into the national school curriculum. Dr. Nayar continues to be a highly sought-after voice in education reform and youth development across the region.
