Shri Yogender Chaudhry is an officer of Indian Revenue Service (IRS) 1989 batch . He was last posted as Advisor to Chief Minister , Haryana and as Principal Secretary sports & youth affairs , Foreign cooperation , Govt of Haryana. Apart from working in Incometax department , he has also worked in Narcotics Control Bureau of India , Urban Development Ministry, as Executive Director of Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and sports and also as Advisor to the Competition Commission of India. Shri Yogender chaudhry was given SARDAR PATEL AWARD in recognition of his work of making 2.5 lakh youth clubs in the field of rural youth development in 2009. 
He was also given Excellence Award by Adventure Tourism Operators Association of India (ATOAI) in 2010 in recognition of his work to do capacity building of village youths in the field of adventure , village tourism and Homestay in 100 districts . On 23rd October 2023 he was given “ Anubhav Award “ by Sh jitender singh , Minister of state in Prime Minister office , for his innovative work and achievement in the field of rural youth empowerment and entrepreneurship development. He also made the plan for creating 2.25 lakh Common service Centres ( CSC / e-mitra , Atal seva kendra , antodya kendra, e-Disha centre ) across rural india to take e-governance project benefits to villages . He has worked at Delhi , Kolkata , Amritsar , Dharamshala , Srinagar and Mumbai . He loves adventure sports , photography and travelling . He is currently managing trustee of Public media tech Foundation , PMTF which works on capacity building of young social media influencers at delhi
