Release of Brochure for the 11th International Conference on Life Skills Education (ICLSE 2026)

On 26th June 2025, the Indian Association of Life Skills Education (IALSE), Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS), and Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) jointly organized a virtual event via Zoom for the formal release of the brochure for ICLSE 2026. The program was hosted by Smt. M.M.P. Shah Women’s College of Arts & Commerce (Autonomous).

The ICLSE 2026 conference, themed “Life Skills Beyond 2030: Learning to Live Together in an Interconnected World”, is being organized in collaboration with Child in Need Institute (CINI) and Loreto College, Kolkata.

Event Highlights:

  • Opening prayer followed by an address from Dr. Gauri Hardikar, Vice President, IALSE.
  • Welcome address by Dr. Archana Patki, Principal of the host college.
  • Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair, President, IALSE, delivered the presidential address highlighting the journey and significance of ICLSE, and the impact of KISS and KIIT.
  • The brochure was officially released by Prof. (Dr.) Debashis Bandyopadhyay (VC, KISS) and Prof. (Dr.) Saranjit Singh (VC, KIIT), who spoke on institutional collaboration and the importance of life skills education.
  • Guest of Honour, Dr. Indrani Bhattacharyya (CEO, CINI), discussed CINI’s work with children and adolescents in alignment with IALSE’s objectives.
  • Vote of thanks by Dr. Gauri Hardikar, acknowledging dignitaries and inviting participation in the conference.

Participation:
Over 200 attendees from India and abroad, including representatives from Sri Lanka, Fiji Islands, Nepal, and the Philippines.

The event marked a milestone in the preparations for ICLSE 2026, setting a positive tone for global collaboration on life skills education.
