About the Event
To mark World Youth Skills Day 2025, IALSE launched its Thematic Masterclass Series with a focus on “Youth Empowerment through AI, Digital Skills and Life Skills.” The session aimed to spark dialogue and equip students, teachers, and educators with essential skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-changing world.

- Welcome Address: Dr. MRH Azad emphasized the role of skill-based education in today’s competitive era.
- Presidential Address: Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair highlighted the importance of life skills, adaptability, and digital literacy for academic and professional success. He stressed that digital tools refine human work rather than replace it.
- Masterclass by Dr. K. Ellangovan, IAS (Retd.):
- Interpersonal Skills: Success now depends as much on EQ (emotional intelligence) and CQ (cultural intelligence) as on IQ.
- Artificial Intelligence: AI is a powerful tool that supports faster learning, cross-disciplinary understanding, and real-world problem-solving.
