About the Event
As part of the Thematic Masterclass Series and in celebration of International Youth Day, IALSE and NAMCE hosted Masterclass #2 with a focus on empowering youth for multilateral cooperation. The session highlighted the role of life skills, technology, and partnerships in building inclusive, sustainable futures.
Highlights
- Welcome Address: Dr. M.R.H. Azad emphasized skill-based education as key to preparing youth for today’s challenges.
- Presidential Address: Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair stressed the importance of adaptability, problem-solving, and responsibility in enabling global collaboration.
- Keynote Address by Shri Yogender Chaudhry, IRS (Retd.): Drawing on Panchatantra stories, he encouraged youth to blend wisdom, teamwork, technology, and partnerships to innovate solutions and contribute meaningfully to international cooperation and sustainable development.
Voices of Youth
The session featured inspiring talks by five young speakers:
- Shruti Khalkho: Technology as a digital archive for cross-cultural cooperation.
- Sneha Paul: The need for social support for migrating youth, with emphasis on Kerala’s challenges.
- Christina Chinappa: Advocacy for unity, mental health, and digital platforms as tools for welfare.
- Srija Mohanty: Call for climate activism and youth mobilization under “One Earth, One Family, One Future.”
- Mohsina Rahman: Focus on gender equity, classroom debates, and collaboration for global issues.
Conclusion
Dr. Gauri Hardikar delivered the vote of thanks, noting the importance of such platforms in fostering youth leadership. The Masterclass successfully highlighted how life skills, technology, and partnerships can transform youth into drivers of innovation, inclusivity, and global cooperation.
