Book Launch: Core Life Skills for the 21st Century – A Comprehensive Training Manual

The Indian Association of Life Skills Education (IALSE) launched Core Life Skills for the 21st Century: A Comprehensive Training Manual authored by Dr. A. Radhakrishnan Nair, Dr. Sunitha Ranjan, and Dr. Gauri Hardikar. The event was graced by the Hon’ble Governor of Kerala, Shri Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar, who released the two-volume manual in the presence of eminent academicians, dignitaries, and students from across Kerala.

The Governor highlighted the importance of values-based education and the role of life skills in nurturing responsible citizens, aligning with the vision of NEP 2020. The launch also featured insightful addresses by Prof. (Dr.) M.K.C. Nair, Prof. G. Gopa Kumar, and Dr. Jiji Thomson IAS (Retd.), each emphasizing the need for holistic and experiential learning.

The event concluded with a workshop on Stress Management, facilitated by Dr. Sunitha Ranjan and Dr. Gauri Hardikar, where participants engaged in interactive activities to explore coping strategies and emotional resilience.

The manual, published by Notion Press, offers structured modules covering the 10 Core Life Skills identified by WHO and serves as an essential resource for educators, trainers, and practitioners.
